Code of Conduct

This Code of Conduct serves as a behavioural guideline for all registered members of the Creative Angels Fashion Benefit (herein after referred to as ‘CAFB’), authorised representatives, selected suppliers, service providers and programme partners, contributors and facilitators with whom the brand associates within the realm of public access and knowledge. A disciplinary code is provided as reference for the consequences of what is deemed to be unethical and unacceptable conduct.

In situations where individuals register digitally for any online programmes provided by the CAFB, the CAFB reserves the right to uphold its policies and engage in professional consultation, where necessary, to effect such policies. In the efforts to build a global family of Angels who value and live by integrity, discipline and respect, the CAFB will seek to reasonably enforce this Code of Conduct and offer support for individuals who do not understand its contents and parameters.

General Conduct

  2. Violence will not be tolerated between any registered members of the CAFB, authorised representatives, selected suppliers, service providers and programme partners, contributors and facilitators with whom the brand associates with in the realm of public access and knowledge. 3. Stipulated start and end times of sessions may be flexed at the discretion of the Producer or Facilitator of each event. Such changes may be presented in written notice up to 48hrs prior to an event. Punctuality is of paramount importance and those arriving late will not be accommodated for during the break times for session facilitators. It is the sole responsibility of each responsible party for arriving on time and working to manage time effectively on site. Punctuality for live online, virtual or digital sessions will maintain the same parameters.

Registered members of the CAFB, authorised representatives, selected suppliers, service providers and programme partners, contributors and facilitators with whom the brand associates with in the realm of public access and knowledge are required to allow up to 30 days for company staff to respond to queries and questions. This is in line with South African legislation provisions for 30 days’ window for the legal right to reply. There are upward of 15x the number of individual inbound requests than there are people with the capacity to attend to them and this needs to be considered at all times. Urgent matters are to be communicated to the relevant liaisons by telephone call.
  6. Gossip and/or mockery will not be tolerated in any form. We strive to create a judgement-free zone in which all participants can safely explore their creative talents and nurture these toward excellence. Constructive criticism and interactive guidance (mentorship) are welcome, however no negative comments will be tolerated, specifically remarks implying weakness, ineptitude, differently abled impairments, prejudices due to race, gender, sexual orientation, nationality, ethnicity, religious or spiritual belief systems or any other personality trait.
  7. In line with all contractual agreements entered into with the CAFB, including those related to digitally delivered programmes, all registered members of the CAFB, authorised representatives, selected suppliers, service providers and programme partners, contributors and facilitators with whom the brand associates with in the realm of public access and knowledge, are considered the material property of the CAFB. This permits the CAFB to interpret any drunken debauchery, drunken misconduct, civil or criminal acts as a direct threat and attack upon the CAFB’s reputation and will be disciplined as such. While individuals are not restricted from engaging in various social activities, such as the consumption of alcohol, every person is expected to abide by the laws of The Republic of South Africa (and applicable laws of nations where digital members reside) at all times and to conduct oneself with respect and dignity.

As such narcotics can be harmful to one’s health and heavily influence one’s behaviour, this may be interpreted as both a criminal act and a direct threat and/or attack to the CAFB’s reputation, vision and mission.
  9. All registered members of the CAFB, authorised representatives, selected suppliers, service providers and programme partners, contributors and facilitators with whom the brand associates with in the realm of public access and knowledge will be held accountable for his/her/their behaviour.
